Contest for Chairman Auqaf Committee Hathlangoo, Apple seems to have the upper hand

  Apple 🍎 seems to have the upper hand The people of Hathlangoo (Generally famous as the village of Famous Saint, Haba Sahab) and people also name the village as Haba Sahbi Hathlung. General Auqaf Committee Hathlangoo has been a strong decision making committee and looking after the development and other things in the village. Now after the resignation of Chairman who has completed his tenure, Hathlangoo is going for polls to elect the next Chairman. 3 candidate have filed their nominations namely Mr. GH Hassan Lone ( a business taikoon of the village), Mr. Mohammad Munawar Wani and Mr. Mohammad Hussain Dar (ex Chairman). Srinagar,  May 10: Today an application was received by Police Station Mattan for lodging the missing report of tourist namely Rahul Basan son of Bharat Bhushan resident of Kundli Border Haryana. The report was lodged by Sandeep Bhatia son of C M Bhatia resident of Faridabad. As per the report received, the group consisted of 15  members including two Innova drivers who had left Faridabad on 07/05/2018 towards Vaishno Devi and various other places. As per the report, the missing person was the last one to join the group and all the pilgrims before leaving for the trip, had tea at his residence in Haryana, where they also interacted with his family. Manzoor Dar (Pandav) the only Kashmir cricketer in this seasons Indian Premier League 2018  is likely to make his debut for Kings-XI Punjab against Mumbai Indians at Indore Today on Friday. Encounter in Shopian

Gunfight broke out in Turkawangam village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, police said. An official said a joint team of army and Special Operations Group (SOG) cordoned off Turkawangam village after inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.  The hiding militants, believed to be three in number, opened fire on the approaching forces’ personnel, triggering a gunfight. Reports said heavy firing on going between the two sides. There was no immediate report of any losses on either side. The gunfight comes just two days after the killing of two Hizb militants and a civilian in Drubgam village of adjoining Pulwama district.
